What to Bring

For your Norwich Sleep Center visit, bring the following:

  • Health insurance card
  • Photo ID
  • List of medications you are taking
  • Write down any questions and symptoms
  • Completed patient forms (if applicable)

If you are participating in an overnight sleep study, bring the following:

  • Health insurance card
  • Two-piece pajamas or shorts/sweatpants and a t-shirt
  • Medication taken in the morning or at bedtime
  • Favorite pillow
  • Evening snack and decaffeinated beverage, if desired

(Note: no caffeine is allowed after 11 a.m. the day of your study)

  • Reading material, if desired
  • Toiletries and clothes for use the next day. Shower facilities are made available at conclusion of overnight sleep study

Prior to your overnight visit, your doctor will review further instructions including:

  • Wash hair with shampoo only prior to overnight visit
  • Do not use hair conditioner, hair spray, styling gel or make-up prior to sleep study
  • If you have artificial fingernails, please remove one nail to enable a finger probe to be attached properly
